Breaking News: 11 Hill journalism students were featured in the Dallas Morning News on Sunday, October 27, 2019. 8th grader Demarion Wreh got his first school newspaper article published in our local community paper, White Rock Lake Weekly, on September 26, 2019. Mr. Ault, the journalism advisor, also had an article published about a lesson he did on 9/11 in the same edition. You can read the articles below.
This is the first journalism class Mr. Ault had in the 2015-2016 school year.
NBC 5 reporter Ben Russell stopped by for a visit on October 3, 2019. He was able to talk with the journalism and news club students about his award winning career and give them great advice about being a journalist.
Debbie Fleck, with the Dallas Morning News, came and spoke to the journalism class on November 8, 2019. She is in charge of the letters to the editor and selected several Hill journalism students letters that were published in the Dallas Morning News. We really enjoyed her insight into the newspaper industry.
A few of the journalism students participated in the Bryan Adams High School homecoming parade on September 21, 2019.
In seeking truth you have to get both sides of the story.
